Now you can afford to spend money!
One
possibility to invest your money is to buy tools. Another convenient way
of travelling through Fortune Hills is by taxi. To call a cab
use the hand icon on any yellow cab passing by. It will stop and
wait for about 10 seconds till Matt enters. Once entered a list will appear
where you can select "to the tool trader". One cab ride
costs $5.
The
tool trader is the large flat building with a black roof. Enter the
shop and talk with Tim. Buy a lockpick and a drill and
go to the car dealership to buy a new car. You will definitely
need them for the next level in this demo. Afterwards you should return
to your motel room and use hand on desk again to go for the Hotel,
which is your next level in this demo.Between burglaries you should try to:
- Examine the next target buildings by going there and e.g. looking through windows.
- Gain new accomplices. The more famous you are the more people you will meet. Very interesting areas are the bars and pubs in Fortune Hills. But these are not the only places.
- Buy new equipment. You will need bigger cars, better tools. The offered products will change during the game.
- Sell your loot. Ali won't be the only fence in town forever. Maybe there are better offers around.
- Search the city. It could also happen that you find one or the other interesting item in Fortune Hills
